How London Government Overcome 1952 Dead Smog

Smog disaster hits London during December 1952 to March 1953 in Golden Jubilee time of Elizabeth II called killer fog. This Smoke from many resident chimneys enter like water into cold stuck in the air. The killer fog killed the people, 12000 people, most of them are child and old people by breathing issues i.e. asthma and pneumonia, damage to heart and lungs. UN controlled industry discharge stayed in the city air with smoke and domestic coal fires. This situation becomes serious when high-pressure weather system moved over London and remained for several days and this smog came close to ground level. This situation reduces the visibility of the zero by the third day. Education, airport, transportation, and business activates of the London city close. The exterior of the building wears the black smog suit even inside the theaters the movie screen is unable of visible. In December 1962 also died 750 another people due to the black smog.

The only action take in London was to improve the air quality by different ways first on is to convert homes to natural gas and also implement the air quality actin 1956. This act enforced the residential, industrial and commercial sectors to generate safe power and clean burning of the transportation and industrial fuel. This act took several years to implement. It is observed that the wood burner was the 10 percent cause of the pollution. London government take most of the action for children safety because the children are more vulnerable to polluted air effects. roads. A driver was banned to keep their engine on while waiting for children’s. They take strong steps to identify the schools which are in more toxic areas to protect the pupils.
